Australia Standards 1288 - Extract Regarding Shower Screen Glass Selection

The information is abstracted from the "AS/NZS 1288 - 2006 : Glass in Buildings - Selection and Installation".
Clause 5.8 is the section relating to "Bathroom, Ensuite and Spa Room Glazing" (glass used in bathrooms, ensuites, and spa rooms) , and clause 5.8.4 is the section relating to "Frameless Glazing" (frameless shower screens).
5.8 BATHROOM, ENSUITE AND SPA ROOM GLAZING

5.8.4 Frameless Glazing
Frameless shower doors or panels shall be glazed with Grade A toughened or toughened laminated safety glass with a minimum thickness of 6 mm, in accordance with Tables 5.4.
